New Sight serves in the Republic of Congo to restore and protect sight, transforming lives and communities in the region.
Why Congo? We recognise that while eye health services are inadequate in many low-income countries, they are non-existent in northern Congo. That is why we chose to start with the poorest and most neglected communities in the north of Congo.
90% of vision loss is preventable or treatable. But 480,000 people suffer from vision loss in Congo because they have no access to eyecare. We have a passion to help these people see.
Our patients have the most amazing transformations – be inspired by their stories.
Our vision is for a world where no one is needlessly blind.
